การติดตั้งและใช้งานโมดูล FCKeditor มีขั้นตอนดังนี้ 
 1 ทำการติดตั้งโมดูล FCKeditor
 2 ทำการติดตั้ง Required components
 
1 ทำการติดตั้งโมดูล FCKeditor 
 - ดาว์นโหลด FCKeditor ที่ http://drupal.org/project/fckeditor จะได้ไฟล์ fckeditor-6.x-2.0.tar
 - ทำการแตกไฟล์ จะได้โฟล์เดอร์ fckeditor
 - upload โฟล์เดอร์ fckeditor ไปไว้ใน sites/all/modules
 - Enable โมดูล FCKeditor โดยไปที่ Administer > Moduels จากนั้นทำการ Enable โดยคลิกเลือกที่ Other > FCKeditor
 2 ทำการติดตั้ง Required components 
 - ดาว์นโหลด Required components ที่ http://sourceforge.net/projects/fckeditor/files/FCKeditor/ จะได้ไฟล์ FCKeditor_2.6.5
 - ทำการแตกไฟล์ จะได้โฟล์เดอร์ fckeditor
 - upload โฟล์เดอร์ fckeditor ไปไว้ใน sites/all/modules/fckeditor
 
เพียงเท่านี้ก็จะสามารถใช้งาน FCKeditor ได้แล้ว
แต่ถ้าต้องการปรับแต่ง FCKeditor ให้ไปที่ Administer -> Site configuration -> FCKeditor
